Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience in property maintenance or similar role
- Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
- Ability to manage work orders timely
- Physical stamina for repetitive climbing, kneeling, squatting, standing, and lifting up to 50lbs
- Availability to comply with property emergency procedures
- Flexibility to complete multiple tasks
- Comfortable working in a team environment
- No history of unlawful harassment or discrimination behavior
- Ability to work at will
- Willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or hotel attendant role preferred
- Basic knowledge of light electrical and plumbing repairs
- Ability to follow property emergency procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
- Physical ability to perform repetitive climbing, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting
- Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally within the company
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Carrying out light plumbing tasks like plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- Participating in public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures to ensure security of the property and guests
- Performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- Assisting with laundry duties as needed
- Completing other duties as assigned
