Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • good communication skills
  • flexibility to work various shifts
  • ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • commitment to following safety and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities
  • reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • handling light plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • carrying out preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • repairing drywall
  • painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
