Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • Ability to perform light electrical and plumbing work
  • Ability to follow emergency procedures
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including climbing stairs and lifting up to 50lbs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Reliable and flexible team player

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with emergency protocols
  • Physical ability to perform required tasks including lifting up to 50lbs
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Performing light plumbing tasks like plunging or snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • Conducting public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • Maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
