Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in property maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing
  • knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • legal authorization to work in the united states

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • physical ability to perform manual labor such as lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs or ladders
  • commitment to providing excellent guest service

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • performing light plumbing work including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
  • engaging in public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
