Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50lbs
- flexible and adaptable to changing work duties
- ability to work well in a team environment
- commitment to safety and security procedures
- willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles
- knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to perform janitorial and housekeeping support tasks
- strong organizational and inventory management skills
- ability to follow emergency procedures
- good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects
- strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
