Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or housekeeping preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending and twisting for long periods
  • ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs
  • able to work flexible hours
  • basic knowledge of preventative maintenance
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • reliable and punctual
  • team player

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • executing preventative maintenance programs
  • cleaning public spaces including parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing orders to management for necessary supplies
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
