Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders
  • flexible and adaptable to various hotel responsibilities
  • ability to work independently and in a team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or custodial roles preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders timely while adhering to a preventative maintenance schedule
  • performing tasks such as shampooing carpets, cleaning floors, light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring property and guest security
  • performing janitorial duties in public spaces
  • assisting with parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • performing other duties as assigned
