Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including repetitive stair and ladder climbing, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently
  • Valid work authorization

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Understanding of safety and emergency protocols
  • Commitment to providing high standards of cleanliness and maintenance

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Performing shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Conducting light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • Participating in preventative maintenance programs
  • Performing public space janitorial work
  • Maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • Cleaning PTAC units
  • Repairing drywall, painting, and caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • Providing orders to management
  • Preparing rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests
  • Performing other duties as assigned
