Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in property maintenance or hospitality industry preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing and lifting up to 50lbs
- flexible and dependable with a team-oriented mindset
- willingness to adhere to safety standards and company policies
- ability to follow instructions and complete multiple tasks efficiently
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role preferred
- basic knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures
- ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
- good organizational and time management skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- physical ability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting and lifting up to 50lbs
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing tasks like plunging or snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- participating in public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
