Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or hospitality recommended
- ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and lifting
- good communication skills
- reliability and flexibility
- basic knowledge of maintenance tools and procedures
- ability to follow safety guidelines and emergency protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep preferred
- knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to operate maintenance equipment safely
- strong organizational and time management skills
- good communication and teamwork abilities
- physical capability to perform repetitive tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- understanding of safety and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- conducting light plumbing duties including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- executing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs
- performing other duties as assigned
