Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • ability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
  • capability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for long periods
  • previous experience in maintenance or housekeeping roles preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repair
  • flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities
  • commitment to safety and emergency procedure adherence

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • conducting light plumbing tasks like plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
  • participating in public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
