Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • ability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
  • flexibility to handle multiple hotel responsibilities
  • willingness to adhere to safety and emergency procedures
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • engaging in preventative maintenance programs
  • conducting public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • performing PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
  • reviewing maintenance needs of rooms
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
