Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or hotel property services preferred
- ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- capability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
- familiarity with basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- availability to work flexible hours
- commitment to safety protocols and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hotel maintenance or a similar property attendant role preferred
- ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
- knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
- strong organizational skills for inventory management
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- team player with flexibility and multitasking abilities
- good physical condition to perform demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting, and bending
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- implementing preventative maintenance programs
- janitorial work in public spaces
- parking lot upkeep
- trash cleanup
- PTAC cleaning
- drywall repair
- painting and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
