Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or related field preferred
  • ability to perform light electrical and plumbing work
  • physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • flexibility to work various shifts
  • willingness to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hotel maintenance or general facility upkeep
  • ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs
  • knowledge of cleaning and janitorial procedures
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and emergency protocols
  • teamwork and flexibility
  • physical ability to perform repetitive tasks involving climbing, kneeling, squatting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing duties like plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • participating in preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • drywall repair, painting, caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
