Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
- physical capability to perform repetitive tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting
- experience with general maintenance and janitorial work

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or custodial services preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to operate cleaning equipment and maintenance tools safely
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- dependable and flexible team player
- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- executing preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
