Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or related field
  • ability to perform physical labor including lifting, kneeling, squatting, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders
  • ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • flexibility to complete multiple hotel responsibilities
  • willingness to adhere to company policies including equal employment opportunity and drug-free workplace
  • availability for full-time employment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role preferred
  • knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repair techniques
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds

  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • commitment to following safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
