Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Capacity to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
- Willingness to climb stairs and occasionally ladders
- Flexibility to perform multiple hotel-related duties
- Availability to work on a full-time schedule
- Must comply with company policies including being drug-free
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in general maintenance or property upkeep preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and painting repair tasks
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and handle chemical cleaning agents safely
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Dependable and self-motivated work ethic
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Performing light plumbing duties such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, or unclogging sinks
- Conducting public space janitorial work, parking lot upkeep, and trash cleanup
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
