Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Capacity to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
  • Willingness to climb stairs and occasionally ladders
  • Flexibility to perform multiple hotel-related duties
  • Availability to work on a full-time schedule
  • Must comply with company policies including being drug-free

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in general maintenance or property upkeep preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and painting repair tasks
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and handle chemical cleaning agents safely
  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Dependable and self-motivated work ethic

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Performing light plumbing duties such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, or unclogging sinks
  • Conducting public space janitorial work, parking lot upkeep, and trash cleanup
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
