Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior relevant experience preferred
  • physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • flexibility to perform various hotel duties
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to adhere to safety and emergency protocols
  • ability to work varied shifts
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in maintenance or property attendant role
  • knowledge of general preventative maintenance techniques
  • ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • strong organizational skills for inventory management
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
  • basic knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner
  • adhering to a preventative maintenance schedule
  • performing carpet shampooing and hard surface floor cleaning
  • light electrical and plumbing work
  • conducting drywall repair, painting, caulking
  • prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens and trash
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • following property emergency procedures and ensuring security of property and guests
  • performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • assisting with laundry duties
  • other duties as assigned
