Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in property maintenance or similar role preferred
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • physically able to perform repetitive climbing of stairs and ladders
  • willingness to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods of time
  • flexible availability
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in property maintenance or similar role preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • good communication skills
  • physically able to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, lifting, and climbing

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • carrying out public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep
  • performing trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • drywall repair
  • painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
