Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs and climbing ladders
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate various hotel needs
  • Willingness to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
  • Ability to perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting and climbing

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • Executing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
