Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel or property maintenance preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in general property maintenance or hospitality support roles
  • Ability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
  • Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance schedules
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Understanding of safety and emergency procedures in a hotel environment

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • Conducting light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep including trash cleanup
  • Prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • Following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Performing other duties as assigned
