Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel or property maintenance preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Experience in general property maintenance or hospitality support roles
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
- Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance schedules
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of light electrical and plumbing repairs
- Understanding of safety and emergency procedures in a hotel environment
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- Conducting light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep including trash cleanup
- Prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- Following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Performing other duties as assigned
