Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in property maintenance or hotel environment preferred
- ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work flexible hours
- reliable transportation
- ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- drug-free status
- ability to stand, bend, twist, kneel and climb stairs or ladders repeatedly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hotel maintenance or general property upkeep preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks involving climbing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- strong organizational and time management skills
- good communication and teamwork abilities
- flexible and adaptable to varied responsibilities
Job Duties
- Managing work orders timely adhering to preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
- performing light plumbing including plunging and snaking toilets
- conducting janitorial work in public spaces
- maintaining parking lot and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- prepping rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, moving furniture and reviewing maintenance needs
- following property emergency procedures and ensuring guest safety
- performing other duties as assigned
