Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant experience in property maintenance or hotel environment preferred
  • ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to work flexible hours
  • reliable transportation
  • ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • drug-free status
  • ability to stand, bend, twist, kneel and climb stairs or ladders repeatedly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hotel maintenance or general property upkeep preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks involving climbing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • good communication and teamwork abilities
  • flexible and adaptable to varied responsibilities

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders timely adhering to preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
  • performing light plumbing including plunging and snaking toilets
  • conducting janitorial work in public spaces
  • maintaining parking lot and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • prepping rooms for housekeeping by removing linens, trash, moving furniture and reviewing maintenance needs
  • following property emergency procedures and ensuring guest safety
  • performing other duties as assigned
