Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders
  • Ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for long periods
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and property emergency procedures
  • Flexibility to complete multiple hotel responsibilities
  • Ability to manage inventory and assist with laundry duties
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and maintenance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use maintenance tools safely
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash and moving furniture
  • Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests
  • Performing other duties as assigned
