Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in property maintenance or similar role preferred
  • ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders
  • ability to bend, kneel, squat, sit, stand, and twist for extended periods
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • flexible schedule

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in general maintenance and cleaning preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • good communication skills
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing maintenance
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • flexibility to handle multiple tasks

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • performing light plumbing including plunging and snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • conducting public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • performing trash cleanup and PTAC cleaning
  • completing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures to ensure security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
