Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in hotel or property maintenance preferred
ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
willingness to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, bending, and standing for extended periods
reliable and flexible team player
ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
good communication skills

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in property maintenance or hotel operations preferred
basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely
strong teamwork and communication skills
ability to follow established maintenance protocols
attention to detail in maintenance and cleaning tasks
ability to handle emergency situations calmly
physical capability to perform the duties including lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
conducting public space janitorial work
maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
cleaning PTAC units
repairing drywall, painting, and caulking
maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
performing other duties as assigned
