Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in property maintenance or hospitality maintenance
  • Ability to perform physical tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
  • Willingness to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in property maintenance or hospitality maintenance preferred
  • Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repair
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills
  • Good communication abilities
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • Maintaining public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • Managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and coordinating orders with management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Following property emergency procedures and ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
