Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous maintenance experience preferred
  • must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • must be reliable and flexible
  • ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision
  • willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
  • must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and janitorial work
  • ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • commitment to safety and quality standards

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • participating in public space janitorial work
  • performing parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • drywall repair, painting, caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
