Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous maintenance experience preferred
- must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to climb stairs and ladders
- must be reliable and flexible
- ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision
- willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
- must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and janitorial work
- ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
- commitment to safety and quality standards
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- participating in public space janitorial work
- performing parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair, painting, caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
