Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or related field preferred
  • ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
  • ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend and twist for extended periods
  • ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • willingness to adhere to company safety and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in general maintenance or hotel property upkeep preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow safety protocols
  • basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
  • strong teamwork and flexibility

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture and reviewing maintenance needs
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
