Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or related field preferred
- ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend and twist for extended periods
- ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work flexible hours
- willingness to adhere to company safety and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in general maintenance or hotel property upkeep preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- good communication skills
- ability to follow safety protocols
- basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
- strong teamwork and flexibility
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
- public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture and reviewing maintenance needs
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
