Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel or property maintenance
- ability to perform physical tasks including kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting for extended periods
- ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
- willingness to learn and follow safety and emergency protocols
- flexible schedule and ability to multitask
- reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
- basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
- ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds
- good communication and teamwork skills
- familiarity with preventative maintenance programs
- strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- participating in preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep
- conducting trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
