Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel or property maintenance
  • ability to perform physical tasks including kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting for extended periods
  • ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to learn and follow safety and emergency protocols
  • flexible schedule and ability to multitask
  • reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • familiarity with preventative maintenance programs
  • strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • participating in preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep
  • conducting trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • drywall repair
  • painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
