Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or housekeeping preferred
- ability to manage work orders and perform general preventative maintenance
- familiarity with light electrical and plumbing repairs
- strong physical stamina to climb stairs and ladders and to bend, squat, and stand for long periods
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- commitment to following emergency procedures
- flexible schedule and ability to work as part of a team

- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs

Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- carrying out light plumbing tasks including plunging and unclogging toilets and sinks
- executing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash and moving furniture
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
