Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
  • ability to perform light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • capability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
  • willingness to adhere to company policies including drug-free workplace
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • ability to perform light electrical and plumbing tasks
  • strong organizational skills for inventory management
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • physical capability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders promptly while adhering to a preventative maintenance schedule
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or switches
  • conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging or unclogging sinks
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing janitorial duties in public spaces
  • maintaining parking lot and trash cleanup
  • executing PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and ordering as needed
  • prepping rooms for housekeeping including removing linens and trash and moving furniture
  • reviewing maintenance needs in guest rooms
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring security of the property and guests
  • performing other duties as assigned
