Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in property maintenance or similar role preferred
- ability to perform light electrical and plumbing work
- understanding of preventative maintenance procedures
- ability to work flexible hours as needed
- physical ability to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in general maintenance and housekeeping duties preferred
- knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing repairs
- strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- good communication and teamwork skills
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- conducting public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security of the property and guests
- performing other duties as assigned
