Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior maintenance or housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for long periods
  • Availability to work flexible hours as required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and property emergency procedures
  • Drug-free workplace compliance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities within a hotel setting
  • Understanding of safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • Carrying out public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
  • Following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned
