Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior maintenance or housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for long periods
- Availability to work flexible hours as required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and property emergency procedures
- Drug-free workplace compliance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities within a hotel setting
- Understanding of safety and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- Carrying out public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, and moving furniture
- Following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- Assisting with other duties as assigned
