Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in property maintenance or similar role preferred
  • ability to perform maintenance tasks including electrical and plumbing repairs
  • capability to manage inventory and complete work orders on time
  • physical ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • flexible and team-oriented work approach
  • ability to follow emergency procedures and safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • good communication skills
  • physical ability to perform the duties including lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets
  • cleaning hard surface floors
  • light electrical work including changing an outlet or wall switch
  • light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • performing preventative maintenance programs
  • public space janitorial work
  • parking lot upkeep
  • trash cleanup
  • PTAC cleaning
  • drywall repair
  • painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
