Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in property maintenance or similar role preferred
- ability to perform maintenance tasks including electrical and plumbing repairs
- capability to manage inventory and complete work orders on time
- physical ability to climb stairs and ladders
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- flexible and team-oriented work approach
- ability to follow emergency procedures and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills
- physical ability to perform the duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets
- cleaning hard surface floors
- light electrical work including changing an outlet or wall switch
- light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- performing preventative maintenance programs
- public space janitorial work
- parking lot upkeep
- trash cleanup
- PTAC cleaning
- drywall repair
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
