Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as repetitive climbing, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
- capacity to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- flexible and willing to perform various hotel responsibilities
- reliable and able to manage multiple priorities
- adherence to company policies and procedures
- eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or housekeeping preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks requiring bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- basic knowledge of light electrical and plumbing repairs
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- understanding of safety and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- carrying out public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
- trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- drywall repair
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
