Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as repetitive climbing, kneeling, squatting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
  • capacity to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • flexible and willing to perform various hotel responsibilities
  • reliable and able to manage multiple priorities
  • adherence to company policies and procedures
  • eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or housekeeping preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks requiring bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • basic knowledge of light electrical and plumbing repairs
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • understanding of safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • carrying out public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • drywall repair
  • painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
