Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or custodial work preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, and prolonged periods of kneeling or bending
  • basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
  • reliable attendance
  • flexible availability
  • ability to follow safety and emergency protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • physical capability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting and climbing

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • carrying out light plumbing tasks including plunging or snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • executing drywall repairs, painting, and caulking
  • performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash and moving furniture
  • reviewing maintenance needs in guest rooms
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring security needs of the property and guests are met
  • assisting with laundry duties
  • performing other duties as assigned
