Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a related maintenance or housekeeping role preferred
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to perform repetitive physical tasks including kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting, climbing stairs and ladders
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed
  • Commitment to follow safety protocols and property emergency procedures
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or facility management preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness standards

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • Conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • Performing public space janitorial work
  • Parking lot upkeep
  • Trash cleanup
  • PTAC cleaning
  • Drywall repair
  • Painting
  • Caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
