Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in maintenance or related field preferred
- ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, squatting, climbing
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- reliable transportation to work location
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs
- commitment to uphold company policies including drug-free workplace
- willingness to undergo background checks if required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs and ladders
- strong organizational and time management skills
- excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- commitment to safety procedures and emergency protocols
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- conducting light plumbing duties including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- executing preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- repairing drywall
- painting
- caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
