Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in maintenance or related field preferred
  • ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, squatting, climbing
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • reliable transportation to work location
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • commitment to uphold company policies including drug-free workplace
  • willingness to undergo background checks if required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant roles preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs and ladders
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • commitment to safety procedures and emergency protocols

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • conducting light plumbing duties including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • executing preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • repairing drywall
  • painting
  • caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
