Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- capability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- availability to work flexible hours
- willingness to assist in various hotel departments as needed
- reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
- ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
- physical capability to perform repetitive climbing, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting
- ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- team player with flexible work approach
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- conducting preventative maintenance programs
- performing public space janitorial work
- parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures
- ensuring security needs of property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
