Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in maintenance or hospitality preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • capability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • availability to work flexible hours
  • willingness to assist in various hotel departments as needed
  • reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred
  • ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow safety and emergency procedures
  • physical capability to perform repetitive climbing, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • team player with flexible work approach

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • performing light plumbing such as plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • PTAC cleaning, drywall repair, painting, caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring security needs of property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
