Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends if required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and emergency procedures
- Commitment to teamwork and reliability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep preferred
- Knowledge of general maintenance tasks including plumbing electrical and carpentry
- Ability to lift push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic understanding of safety and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- Conducting light plumbing including plunging toilets snaking toilets unclogging sinks
- Performing public space janitorial work
- Maintaining parking lot upkeep including trash cleanup and PTAC cleaning
- Conducting drywall repair painting and caulking
- Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
- Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens trash moving furniture and reviewing maintenance needs
- Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- Performing other duties as assigned
