Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep preferred
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends if required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and emergency procedures
  • Commitment to teamwork and reliability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hotel maintenance or property upkeep preferred
  • Knowledge of general maintenance tasks including plumbing electrical and carpentry
  • Ability to lift push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Basic understanding of safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Conducting light plumbing including plunging toilets snaking toilets unclogging sinks
  • Performing public space janitorial work
  • Maintaining parking lot upkeep including trash cleanup and PTAC cleaning
  • Conducting drywall repair painting and caulking
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens trash moving furniture and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures and ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • Performing other duties as assigned
