Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting for long periods
- ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
- availability to work full-time
- reliable transportation
- willingness to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace standards
- ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hotel maintenance or custodial work preferred
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
- ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- flexibility to handle multiple duties
- familiarity with safety and emergency procedures
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
- performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
- conducting public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units, drywall repair, painting, caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
- knowing and following property emergency procedures to ensure security
- performing other duties as assigned
