Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to perform physical tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, twisting for long periods
  • ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
  • availability to work full-time
  • reliable transportation
  • willingness to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace standards
  • ability to follow instructions and safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel maintenance or custodial work preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • flexibility to handle multiple duties
  • familiarity with safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing outlets or wall switches
  • performing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, and unclogging sinks
  • conducting public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units, drywall repair, painting, caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers by removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures to ensure security
  • performing other duties as assigned
