Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in maintenance or related fields preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow safety and emergency protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel maintenance or property attendant role preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and janitorial skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks including climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • Shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • Performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • Conducting light plumbing tasks including plunging or snaking toilets and unclogging sinks
  • Performing public space janitorial work and parking lot upkeep
  • Maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools and providing orders to management
  • Prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, and reviewing maintenance needs
  • Knowing and following property emergency procedures to ensure safety and security
  • Performing other duties as assigned
