Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or similar field
  • ability to perform basic electrical and plumbing work
  • physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • capability to climb stairs and ladders repetitively
  • ability to kneel, squat, sit, stand, bend, and twist for extended periods
  • willingness to perform multiple hotel-related duties
  • compliance with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role preferred
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing repairs
  • ability to follow safety protocols
  • strong communication skills

  • physical stamina for repetitive climbing, lifting and manual tasks

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets and cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • executing light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
  • conducting preventative maintenance programs
  • performing public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • repairing drywall
  • painting and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens and trash
  • moving furniture
  • reviewing maintenance needs in guest rooms
  • knowing and following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
