Job Qualifications

- experience in hotel maintenance or property management preferred
- ability to perform manual labor tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- good communication and teamwork skills
- capable of following safety and emergency procedures
- flexibility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to assist in housekeeping and laundry duties
Job Duties
- Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
- shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
- performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
- handling light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
- executing preventative maintenance programs
- conducting public space janitorial work
- maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
- cleaning PTAC units
- performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
- maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- providing supply orders to management
- prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
- following property emergency procedures
- ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
- performing other duties as assigned
