  • relevant maintenance experience preferred
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • capacity to climb stairs and ladders repeatedly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hotel maintenance or property management preferred
  • ability to perform manual labor tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • capable of following safety and emergency procedures
  • flexibility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to assist in housekeeping and laundry duties

Job Duties

  • Managing work orders in a timely manner while adhering to a proper preventative maintenance schedule
  • shampooing carpets or cleaning hard surface floors
  • performing light electrical work such as changing an outlet or wall switch
  • handling light plumbing tasks including plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks
  • executing preventative maintenance programs
  • conducting public space janitorial work
  • maintaining parking lot upkeep and trash cleanup
  • cleaning PTAC units
  • performing drywall repair, painting, and caulking
  • maintaining and managing inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
  • providing supply orders to management
  • prepping rooms for housekeepers including removing linens, trash, moving furniture, reviewing maintenance needs
  • following property emergency procedures
  • ensuring the security needs of the property and guests are met
  • performing other duties as assigned
