Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or recent graduate in Marketing, Event Management, Sports Management, Hospitality or related field preferred
  • Previous internship or part-time experience
  • 1+ year in promotions, events, or a similar role preferred
  • Flexible schedule
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong professionalism, communication, and organizational skills
  • Creative, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving ability
  • Ability to build relationships across teams and with vendors
  • Baseball knowledge a plus

Job Duties

  • Assist the marketing, special events, and stadium operations teams with coordinating logistics and supporting the execution of large-scale events e.g., Opening Day Street Festival, FanFest, HOF Weekend, Pride Night, Dog Day, Hispanic Heritage Festival
  • Support promotional activities for Astros home games, including on-field pregame and in-game activations
  • Help manage premium gate giveaways, including booking and coordinating distribution groups
  • Collaborate with the Fan Experience team on ideas for milestone pregame ceremonies e.g., Opening Day, Independence Day
  • Assist with Commemorative and Fan Affinity programs, including daily management, customer fulfillment, and monitoring dedicated email accounts
  • Contribute to special projects and creative initiatives as assigned
  • Perform other duties as needed
