Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- minimum of two years experience in event planning marketing or promotions
- demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software
- willingness to work extended hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications or related field preferred
- experience in sports marketing or promotions strongly desired
- proven leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- strong organizational and project management skills
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- creativity in developing engaging promotions and fan experiences
- proficiency in vendor negotiation and relationship management
- familiarity with coordinating community outreach programs
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Develop and execute the full promotional calendar including theme nights giveaways and in-game entertainment
- schedule performers for National Anthem and pre-game elements
- lead daily game day meetings to cover all aspects of the game
- confirm all sponsorship commitments are honored and entertainment is completed
- lead fan engagement initiatives to enhance game day experience
- collaborate with Partnership Activation Executive on promotions and ceremonies
- coordinate with Group Sales for promotional efforts aligned with revenue initiatives
- negotiate with vendors to order promotional giveaways
- ensure timely ordering of sponsor-themed products and giveaways
- manage Junior Blue Rocks Kids’ Club
- oversee Blue Rocks charitable donation program
- schedule and attend mascot and player appearances
- assist in hiring training and supervising game day promotional team
- collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure seamless execution
- perform other duties as assigned
