Job Duties
- Oversee promotions and marketing efforts for Indianapolis radio stations including all internal/external execution of the station promotional and marketing plans and create and fulfill sales opportunities
- assist in the planning and coordination of major promotions/events from inception to completion
- collaborate with multiple departments to create and execute promotions such as remotes, events, van hits and other street team activities from start to finish
- coordinate and attend client meetings with sellers and sales managers as needed to plan events
- oversee the execution on-site promotions and handle clients and listeners
- assist with the hiring and training of part-time staff in the Promotions Department
- prepare contest rules, waivers, and release forms for on air, digital, social media and other contests
- collaborate with digital team on creating and scheduling social media posts
- create all concert proposals and concert promotions
- manage database and promotion scheduling system for station
- ensure accurate recording and tracking of all contests, prizes and winners
- supervise prize inventory as well as awarding of prizes at events
- work flexible hours including nights, holidays and weekends
