Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant work experience in audio visual or event technology
- Two years of college or technical trade school preferred
- Knowledge of the convention, tradeshow, and hotel industry
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to travel up to 25 percent
- Capable of working onsite as needed
- Strong technical skills in A/V systems
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience
- Two years of college or technical trade school and/or two years of related experience with a professional sound company or national A/V company, or an equivalent combination preferred
- General knowledge of the convention, tradeshow, and hotel industry
- Valid state driver's license
Job Duties
- Direct and coordinate on-site labor, logistics, and scheduling to ensure efficient load-in, setup, operation, strike, and load-out of audiovisual equipment
- Ensure and actively promote a safe and professional work environment for all crew members, clients, and venue staff by monitoring conditions, enforcing safety protocols, and addressing potential hazards promptly
- Meet deadlines and commitments to ensure jobs are completed to meet client expectations and Freeman standards
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks, verify equipment against inventory lists, and ensure proper handling to prevent damage
- Comply with and adhere to all company procedures and guidelines
- Maintain accurate paperwork
- Promote a positive team atmosphere on show sites
- Represent the company positively on show sites and in public
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and fellow Freeman employees
- Stay current on new equipment and technology to remain proficient in the field
- Perform other duties as assigned
