Job Requirements

  • Education related to construction management or equivalent experience
  • demonstrated project management experience in retail construction
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in construction management software
  • ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively
  • knowledge of safety and quality standards
  • ability to lead and coordinate subcontractors

Job Qualifications

  • Experience managing retail ground-up and interior renovation projects
  • strong scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
  • proven track record in client-facing communication within a general contractor environment
  • ability to interpret construction documents and provide proactive solutions
  • competence using construction management software such as Procore or MS Project
  • strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Manage ground-up retail builds and interior remodels from pre-construction through closeout
  • lead scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
  • maintain proactive, client-facing communication to ensure expectations are met
  • drive weekly project meetings and ensure key milestones are achieved
  • review drawings, resolve field issues, and support the site team
  • ensure safety, quality standards, and company processes are upheld
  • support continuous improvement across project delivery
