Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred
  • Three to five years of related experience in construction, architectural, commercial furnishings, design, engineering or related fields preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural construction plans
  • Experience with construction contracting and processing
  • Proficiency with jobsite measuring tools such as rotary, plumb, and distance lasers
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel and work in variable weather and construction site conditions

Job Duties

  • Prepare quotes and process orders
  • Assist in establishing service fees and discounts for customers
  • Maximize revenue and gross profit margin for all transactions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed record keeping including sign-offs and approvals
  • Complete order placement based on project phasing, delivery dates, and ship-to locations
  • Check acknowledgments against orders and resolve discrepancies
  • Communicate with customers regarding order status, punch list resolution, and scheduling of delivery/installation
  • Secure and negotiate freight and installation quotations
  • Create work orders and coordinate with installation team for delivery and installation
  • Enter orders for punch list/warranty work and follow up to ensure timely completion
  • Work collaboratively with sales, project management, design, and accounting teams
  • Assist in managing the Preventative Maintenance Program
  • Maintain filing systems and assist with project permitting
  • Read and interpret architectural construction plans and related documents
  • Use jobsite measuring tools to record site-specific measurements
  • Develop and manage project installation schedules and coordinate with all parties
  • Manage incoming service calls and coordinate with installation partners
  • Conduct preinstallation site visits and manage site access requirements
  • Interact appropriately with jobsite personnel including general contractors and subcontractors
  • Manage submittals and schedule punch list items
  • Confirm project completion and ensure timely invoicing
  • Manage warranty submittal process and troubleshoot minor repairs
  • Participate in company meetings and trainings
  • Order and manage marketing literature
  • Other duties as assigned
